1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Daily Ironing Service ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Daily Ironing Service provides professional garment pressing and ironing services with pickup and delivery in South Surrey, Langley, and White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. Our services include:
- Standard Service: Regular ironing with standard turnaround time
- 24-Hour Express Service: Expedited ironing service with 24-hour turnaround (additional fees apply)
- Pickup and Delivery: Convenient collection and return of garments to your specified address
- Specialized Care: Professional handling of various fabric types and garment categories
Important: We provide ironing and pressing services only. We do not provide washing, dry cleaning, or laundry services. All items must be clean and dry before pickup.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing Structure
- Pricing is per item based on garment type and complexity
- 24-hour express service incurs an additional $1.00 per item
- Pickup and delivery fee of $10.00 applies to orders under $50.00
- Orders $50.00 and above qualify for free pickup and delivery
- All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes
Payment Methods
- Credit and debit cards (processed securely through Stripe)
- Electronic transfer (e-transfer)
- Cash on delivery (where available)
Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of order placement
- For cash on delivery, payment is due upon delivery
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
- We reserve the right to hold items until payment is received
4. Pickup and Delivery
Scheduling
- Pickup and delivery times are scheduled in advance
- Time slots: Morning (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM), Afternoon (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM), Evening (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
- We will provide confirmation codes for secure pickup and delivery
- Customers must be available during scheduled time slots
Service Areas
We currently serve the following areas:
- South Surrey (including Crescent Beach, Ocean Park, Grandview Heights)
- Langley (including Willoughby, Walnut Grove, Murrayville)
- White Rock (including White Rock Beach, East Beach, Hillside)
Access Requirements
- Customers must provide clear access instructions
- Building codes, gate codes, or buzzer numbers must be provided
- Items must be ready for pickup at the scheduled time
- Someone must be available to receive delivery
5. Quality Guarantee and Refund Policy
Quality Guarantee
We guarantee the quality of our ironing services. If you are not satisfied with our work, we will:
- Re-iron the item(s) at no additional charge
- Provide a full refund if re-ironing does not meet your satisfaction
- Quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
Damage Policy
- We inspect all items before processing and will note any existing damage
- In the unlikely event of damage during our care, we will compensate up to the fair market value of the item
- Maximum liability per item is $100.00 CAD unless higher value is declared and additional insurance purchased
- Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- We are not liable for damage to items with pre-existing wear, damage, or defects
Lost Items
- In the rare event an item is lost, we will compensate up to the fair market value
- Maximum compensation per item is $100.00 CAD unless higher value is declared
- Lost item claims must be reported within 48 hours of scheduled delivery
- We maintain detailed tracking of all items in our care
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Customer Cancellation: Orders may be cancelled up to 2 hours before scheduled pickup without penalty
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 2 hours of pickup may incur a $10.00 service fee
- No-Show Fee: If customer is not available for scheduled pickup, a $10.00 no-show fee applies
- Delivery No-Show: If customer is not available for delivery, items will be held and redelivery fee of $5.00 applies
- Company Cancellation: We may cancel service due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control
Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing fees may apply for certain payment methods
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Item Condition: All items must be clean and dry before pickup
- Special Instructions: Provide clear care instructions for delicate or special items
- Valuable Items: Declare items with value over $100.00 and consider additional insurance
- Prohibited Items: Do not include items that are wet, soiled, damaged, or require dry cleaning
- Personal Items: Remove all personal items from pockets (we are not responsible for items left in pockets)
- Access: Provide safe and legal access to pickup and delivery locations
- Communication: Respond promptly to our communications regarding your order
7. Prohibited Items
We do not accept the following items:
- Wet, damp, or soiled garments
- Items requiring dry cleaning
- Leather, suede, or fur items
- Items with heavy staining or odors
- Damaged items that may be further damaged by ironing
- Items with loose buttons, tears, or structural damage
- Vintage or antique items (unless specifically agreed upon)
- Items containing hazardous materials

General Disclaimer
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SELECTION AND USE OF OUR IRONING SERVICES TO ACHIEVE YOUR INTENDED RESULTS, AND YOU USE OUR SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", "AS AVAILABLE" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS", AND WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS OR GUARANTEES OF ANY NATURE OR KIND WHATSOEVER, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, OR ARISING FROM CUSTOM OR TRADE USAGE OR BY ANY COURSE OF DEALING OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- We shall not be liable for loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity
- Our liability for damaged or lost items is limited to the fair market value, maximum $100.00 CAD per item
- We shall not be liable for damage to items with pre-existing conditions
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather
- Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
- Labor disputes, strikes, or work stoppages
- Equipment failure, power outages, or technical issues
- Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergencies
- Transportation disruptions or road closures
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Daily Ironing Service and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy.
11. Communication and Notifications
By using our services, you consent to receive communications from us via:
- SMS text messages for order updates and notifications
- Email for confirmations, receipts, and service communications
- Phone calls for service-related matters
- Push notifications through our website or app
You may opt out of marketing communications but cannot opt out of service-related communications.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of British Columbia, Canada, and you hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We will notify customers of material changes via:
- Email notification to registered customers
- Prominent notice on our website
- SMS notification for significant changes
Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Severability
